Seattle Police officials say they have a number of concerns regarding the violent tactics an officer used in dealing with a pair of teenage girls recently. twitter.com facebook.com myspace.com A witness recorded this video of a confrontation between Officer Ian Walsh and two girls who he tried to cite for jaywalking. When he tries to bring them over to his patrol car they become antagonistic. That's when the officer punches one of the girls in the face. Department officials said their officers are trained to throw a punch in certain situations ... and the department will withhold judgment until an investigation is complete. Civil rights activists are outraged and say the punch was an action of anger not self defense. The incident comes weeks after another high profile video where Seattle Police were caught on camera kicking a man they thought was a robbery suspect.
